Welcome to the Llama Protection League.

The Llama Protection League was the name Aaron gave to our Fortnite duo. I can't really remember why, or where it came from, however, the name stuck with me and I feel like it is fitting for this blog.

I'm Ryan-Thomas, I'm 17, I live in Dunfermline in Scotland and I'm a trainee journalist, campaigner, fundraiser and political activist.

My best friend Aaron Murphy passed away from Neuroblastoma on the 30th of May 2019. 6 years on, in the year that he should have been 18, I feel like now is the time to continue his his legacy and make my contribution to a future world where no child is affected by cancer.

I do not do this for me I do it for the 320 people under the age of 25 diagnosed with cancer each year in Scotland.

I do it for the mothers, the fathers, the families and the friends who know all too well the emotional and financial trauma that comes with loving a child with cancer.

Most importantly however, I do it for the Aaron and the 40 other Scottish children who die from cancer each year, before they've even had the chance to live.

On this site, you will find articles written by me, information and my social media handles. I'd love for you to join me on my mission to raise awareness and understanding of childhood cancer.
